East China"s Jiangsu province has made unremitting efforts to promote the construction of urban green leisure spaces for the making of a new landscape of urban green ecology.

As an important component of urban public space, the space under the bridge is a highlight and an important breakthrough direction for urban renewal.

Suzhou has recently started to improve the landscape of the space under the West Ring overpass over a length of 5.8 kilometers long by focusing on the transformation and improvement of the landscape under the viaduct so as to create a green landscape space function under the viaduct and improve the external display effect.

In 2023, Suzhou will schedule at least 12 elevated road bridge space improvement and management projects.

Xuzhou-based China University of Mining and Technology has completed the construction of green belts on both sides of the Nanhu campus road section, and construction workers were laying colored asphalt.

The 11.7-kilometer-long greenway connects the core urban landscape sites such as Yunlong Lake Scenic Area, Zhushan Scenic Area, Quanshan Forest Park Scenic Area, and some other areas.

Urban greenways are corridors that have both green travel and biological migration functions for citizens by relying on natural elements, connecting green open spaces, and focusing on recreation and fitness.
